Understanding Paint Correction
For Your Car In DFW, TX

Car Paint correction might sound like we’re fixing the paint itself, but what we’re actually doing is restoring the clear coat on top of your car’s paint. Here’s how it works:
1. Vehicle Structure: Your car is made of materials like aluminum and steel.
2. Primer Layer: A primer is applied to help the base coat stick.
3. Base Coat: This is the colored paint you see on your car.

4. Clear Coat: A transparent layer on top of the base coat that protects it. Over time, this clear coat can get scratched and develop swirls, dulling your car’s appearance.
How Paint Correction Helps
The goal of paint correction is to remove swirls and imperfections so your car can shine. Depending on your preference, we can remove between 40% to 80% of these imperfections.

Some scratches or imperfections won’t come out completely. This can happen because the scratch is too deep, the type of imperfection may not respond to correction methods, or it might be unsafe to polish certain panels due to a thin clear coat. While paint correction can significantly improve your car's appearance, these factors may limit the extent of the results.

Paint correction is an investment in your vehicle's appearance. To keep your paint in great condition, proper maintenance is essential after the service. Improper washing and drying can quickly reintroduce swirls and scratches, undoing the benefits of the correction. With the right care, you can preserve the stunning, flawless finish achieved through paint correction. If you're looking to protect your vehicle long-term after correction then Ceramic Coating the vehicle after would be the best option to preserve the vehicle's paint and gloss for years to come.
